As I sat writing about the predictions of the coming year, a kitten came and start playing near my feet. Looking at it, I got an intuition that in the coming year people are going to be more caring and friendly with each other. After the great tragedy faced by the world during the last two years, people will learn to get along with each other and will learn to explore new things and ideas together. My intuition was based on the philosophy of astrology that regards each living creature as Primordial Soul (“Jivaatmaa”) that is grounded in Primordial Existence (“Prakriti”). The movement of Astral Bodies affects all living creatures that are joined together in the Primordial Existence, and therefore, the science of Astrology studies the impact of all astral bodies on the entire world. In this series I bring out the following predictions for the year 2022:
General:
• Since 2022 will start on Saturday, there is a conjunction of Saturn with Venus—the number of this year being 6 that carries the energy of Venus—bringing a sense of materialism in the world. Even spiritual activity will attain a glamour to attract new disciples.
• The conjunction of Saturn and Venus can also be read in the Indian New Year—Samvat 2079—which too will start on a Saturday, thus making Saturn the king for 2022 in Indian calendar. In Indian mythology, Saturn is the disciple of Venus (Shukracharya) who is the teacher of all Demons. This means that the coming year is the year of desiring life, living life and lusting after fun and material comforts of this world.
• Since, according to Chinese Astrology, this year’s animal is Tiger, human beings will find fulfilment in materialistic things that are there in the outside world and will not seek peace within.
Environment:
• This is the year of harmony and love for people, who will celebrate life on Mother Earth.
• People will become more conscious the need to save our Planet and will contribute to save it.
• Fear of earthquake, along with spreading of diseases in animals will be seen in the Southern part of China.

Society:

• As the year will progress, people will be free of the fear of Covid, especially after June 2022.
• This time of the year will also be the time of healing as the society, families, and individuals will learn to love and support each other which is very important for this lonely planet.
• With Venus ruling as the Lord, the world will find a lot of inner strength and love; there will be corporation among people as families and the entire society will come together.
• Young people will be benefitted a lot in this year as Venus is particularly benevolent towards the younger generation.
• This being the year of Earth element too, it is the time for all the individuals to be grounded in morality and while having fun.
Economy:
• People with multiple skills will be appreciated for their talent and will gain profit while giving benefits to the world around them.
• This year will be especially good for European Union as its economy will become stable, and will see change in their ways of doing business. It will become a strong rival to America and China.
• Travel, Tourism, World Trade will keep on growing and will show more development than 2020.
• Indian Economy will touch new heights in this year.
Political:
• One of the countries in Latin America will suffer, as public protest again its government will intensify leading to new democratic changes.
• Conflicts and differences will rise in countries of Middle East, and this will result in struggle for power between them by the end 2022 and in the beginning of 2023.
• There is a strong possibility that top position in American politics will witness change and women can create history in American politics.
